31 Mar 2026, Round 6. Wolfpack A team achieved a splendid win against a highly rated Hertford team and this should ensure that the A team remains in Division 1 next season. Only Ray Collett escaped with a draw in the B team playing Wessex C. The Wolfpack C team was lucky to win and there was a double default on board 4. The D team was seriously out rated and duly lost 0-4 to Five Towns Superchargers. At the end of the evening, team A are fifth out of eight in Group B of Division 1; team B is sixth out of eight in Group a of Division 2 and will need a draw or a win to stave off relegation in the final round. In Division 4 Wolfpack C are fourth and the D team is tewnty third out of a field of thirty two teams.

17 Feb 2026, Round 3. This was a disappointing round. Both the A and the B teams lost 1½- 2½ and the C and D teams played each other. The C team won, but it was a tough battle. At the end of the evening team A are third in their group in Division 1, team B are 6th in their group in Division 2. The C team are eighth and team D are fifteenth in Division 4.

In Division 4 the C team lost 1-3 to Epsom Salties 2 and team D lost to Dartford Juniors 1-2½. The A team are first equal in Division 1 with Dundee Cty B and Hertford 1 in Group B. The B team are fith in Division 2 Group A. The C and D teams are mid-table in Division 4, which has 31 competing teams.

On paper Team A were outrated, but B, C and D teams had lower rated opponents. In the end team A also won their match giving a very good start to season 13 for Worcestershire.
