One loss and one win in third weekend at Daventry
7 & 8 Feb 2026. The Windmills lost the fifth round match 1-5 to a very strong Irish team TMNT. Ian Clarke (Malvern) secured a win agains Irish women’s champion Alice O’Gorman, but the team lost 1-5 and were tenth in the table at the end of the round. In round 6 the Windmills beat a lower rated Barnet team and finished the weekend fourth in the Division 4 table.

1 Sep 2025. Ben Attwell (Redditch) was appointed team manger and the team was named Worcestershire Windmills.
2 Jun 2025. At its annual meeting the association resolved to enter a county team in the Four Nations Chess League (4NCL) to give elite county players greater opportunities to play weekend chess. This new venture was proposed by Redditch players with the backing of Kidderminster.
