Worcestershire played two teams in the Counties Correspondence competitions in Divisions 2 and 4. Jim Keene, Captain of Worcestershire First Team, reported that two regular members departed at the ned of this season: Eric Horwill and Jim Cox who have played over many years. This was Eric Horwill's last appearance for Worcestershire. He wrote: "I've been playing the one annual game for Worcs for I think either 50 or 51 years. Time to call it a day! I am pleased to go out with a draw - I didn't want to quit on a loss!" Peter Kitson (Worcester City) and Andrew Farthing (Worcester City) will be the new players next season. This season was not Worcestershire's finest particularly as the first team had been relegated from Division 1 last season, but many of the games were not decided until the end.
