Worcestershire have entered four teams for season 10. Teams A and B will play in Division 3: C and D will play in Division 5. If you would like to play online standard play chess, please contact the Worcestershire Wolfpack squad’s co-manager Ray Collett

5 Nov 2024 Round 5. Team A won making them second in their Division 5 group, teams B and C lost. Team B will now need a win to clear the relegation zone. There were insufficient players to field the D team this round.

22 Oct 2024, Round 4. Team A drew, team B won after Collett bluffed his way to a draw after losing a piece in the early middlegame. In Division 5, the C team made a clean sweep winning 4-0 and the D team won courtesy of a defaulted board. New player Sean won his debut game for the Wolfpacks. The A team are third in their group and team B are 6th in Group A of Division 3. In Division 5 team C is fifth and team D is 9th.

24 Sep 2024 Round 2. In Division 3, team A drew against the strong Sheffield University Graduates team led by ex-Worcestershire player Chris Higgie. Team A stand second in their group. Team B lost 1-3 to Ashfield Anonymous and are near the bottom of thier group in Division 3. New player Glenn Cox won a queen for rook and knight, but his opponent created a self supporting fortress and Glenn had to settle for a draw by repetition. Worcestershire Wolfpack C beat a new team Sussex Rookies 2½-1½ in Division 5 With Robin Hayles winning his game on board 3 and Arnold Kirkland winning by default. Team D after their whitewash in round 1 redeemed themselves with a smashing 4-0 victory against Wessex H. Dylan, a new junior player in the squad, scored his first league victory.
